Accessibility Statement

The Institute of Administrative Management is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities

Our Commitment

The Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, as referenced in our Professional Standards (Domain 3 — Digital Proficiency, Technology and Data).

As a professional body that sets standards for administrative management practice, we recognise that accessibility is not merely a technical requirement but a professional obligation consistent with our values of Respect and Service.

Consistent navigation structure across all pages, with keyboard-accessible menus and clear page hierarchy.

All form fields include appropriate labels and ARIA attributes for assistive technology compatibility.

Responsive Design

Pages adapt to different screen sizes and orientations, supporting users on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.

Conformance Status

We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. While we strive to meet all applicable guidelines, we acknowledge that some areas of our website may not yet fully conform. We are actively reviewing and improving accessibility across all pages and features.

Our Professional Standards (IAM-PS-2026-001) require administrative management professionals to understand digital accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and to create accessible content and systems. We hold ourselves to the same standard.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are in progress:

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible; we are working to remediate these.
  • Some third-party content and embedded tools may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control.
  • We are in the process of adding an accessibility toolbar with font size, contrast, and spacing controls.
